MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Curro Mossel Bay independent school is hosting its first parkrun at the school grounds.
From this Saturday, 2 December onwards, this will be an official parkrun.
"It will be a free, fun and friendly five kilometre community event," according to a spokesperson for the parkrun.
You can walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate. The venue is Curro Mossel Bay independent school, 2 Seemeeu Street, Heiderand, Mossel Bay.
The opening is at 07:40 and the event starts at 08:00. Runners must register before coming for the first time at www.parkrun.co.za/curromosselbayschool/.
You only need to register once and don't forget to bring a scannable copy of your barcode (request a reminder on the website). If you forget it, you won't be given an official result - the time you took to run the 5km.
All are encouraged to participate for their own enjoyment, regardless of their pace. The event is entirely organised by volunteers.
The Curro Mossel Bay parkrun is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults at risk. For the full safeguarding processes and policies, including how to report a concern, see the safeguarding hub on the website.
