MOSSEL BAY BOWLING NEWS - The first round of the 2020 Afrishore Spring Bowling Business League was completed on Thursday, 30 January, with good bowls being shown by all the participating teams.

Over and above the competitive edge being shown, there was - more importantly - a fantastic spirit among all players, which led to an enjoyable evening's bowls.

At the end of Round 1, Primapart and Needles & Pins are both on 12 points, with Primapart taking top spot by way of more shots scored.

Closely followed in third and fourth place are CP Nel Motors on 11 points and Rollos and the Gang on 10.5 points.

Leading the "Touchers Competition" on five touchers after Round 1 is Claud from Needles & Pins. "Groot Piet" from Drema won the "Corner to Corner", walking away with a voucher from Hi-Q Mossel Bay for wheel alignment and balancing and a bottle of wine.
