GARDEN ROUTE NETBALL NEWS - The Eden B netball team came third in its group in the Western Cape Inter-District Development Tournament held in Hartenbos on 26 and 27 August.
Eden Netball hosted this tournament.
In the Group B section of the tournament, the final places of the teams, from one to six, were:
- Cape Town C,
- Cape Town B,
- Eden B,
- Cape Winelands B,
- Overberg B and
- West Coast B.
In the Group A section, the final places from one to six were:
- Cape Town A,
- Cape Winelands A,
- West Coast A,
- Overberg A,
- Central Karoo A,
- Eden A.
Another feather in the cap for Eden Netball is that it was named sports federation of the year at the Eden Sport Council Awards held in Oudtshoorn on Friday night.
