MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The prestigious annual Arthur Johnson Sport Week starts in Mossel Bay on Thursday, 21 March.
The sport week is hosted by Point High School at the Van Riebeeck Stadium and draws hundreds of learners from schools throughout South Africa.
It is a key economic boost for Mossel Bay every year as the learners and their support teams fill up accommodation establishments and spend money in the town.
It is a golden opportunity for the country's best rugby, hockey and netball players at schools to compete against one another.
The rugby matches may not be played for two days in a row. There are only rugby matches on Thursday, Saturday and Monday. The arrangements for Saturday's and Monday's matches will be determined after the matches on Thursday.
