MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Last week Thursday the women's section of the Mossel Bay Golf Club held its annual championships, one of the calendar highlights of the year.
The decision was made this year to revert back to 36 holes of medal being played on one day, which was great.
This is a real challenge and takes a great deal of stamina and fortitude, probably what sorted out the "men from the boys", so to speak!
Luckily the weather was accommodating so we had no complaints about that, a gentle breeze making the last nine holes just a tad interesting.
This is a serious day of high-level competition, to crown the club champion for the year.
Thanks to Super Spar Mossel Bay for its sponsorship which included a survival kit packed full of goodies to sustain brain and body for a gruelling 36 holes of medal and to the club for all its kind assistance and unwavering support for this and all our ladies' golf events.
