MOSSEL BAY GOLF NEWS - Seventeen-year-old Aldrich Potgieter, a member of the Louis Oosthuizen Junior Academy, yesterday 18 June, became the second youngest winner of the 127th British Amateur Golf Championship hosted at Royal Lytham & St Annes in Lancashire, England.
It was Potgieter’s first time playing in the United Kingdom and on the links course.
Potgieter and his family returned to Mossel Bay earlier this year after spending nine years in Australia. He will be returning to Mossel Bay on Monday, 20 June following his victory.
