MOSSEL BAY GOLF NEWS - On Thursday, 24 January, 41 enthusiastic women (so happy to have our swallows to swell our numbers for a few months at least) enjoyed a beautiful day of golf on the lovely Mossel Bay course.
I would have expected better results, with virtually no wind, but our greens are getting back to their slickest, thanks to some excellent green management, possibly the reason for mediocre scores.
Annette Pretorius is finding form again and returned a winning 36 individual points. Then there was a fight for the honours, with all four scoring 35 points, the "count out" favouring Ineke Botes into second position, Gloria Greyvenstein into third, Shirley Pressley fourth and Marie Smith, fifth.
Two clubs were achieved by Marinda de Villiers, Christe-Mari Meyer and Rachel Mulder.
