MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Talk about four seasons, we have had some crazy weather is Mossel Bay of late. With only a few really cold days to speak of, it has been a very mild winter…but perhaps it is still to come?
The ladies medal was played in good weather, but looking at the scores one would not have said so, perhaps the conditions under foot have something to do with the somewhat uninspiring scoring?
Silver division winner was Rita Herholdt who counted out Christe-Mari Meyer to second, both on 81 net scores.
Rita also managed a two club showing that she has come back strong and fit after a cycle tour of Italy.
The bronze division did better, Jackie Braisher netting 75 to take the honours from Leoni de Beer who was one shot adrift.
The best result, however was returned by one of our copper division players, Catherine Bell’s 70 net being the only really impressive score for the day! Second in this division was Cynthia Zietsman with a 76 net, Cynthia also managing to claim nearest the pin.
Hopefully with Spring around the corner, we will see some new growth on the course and some fresh inspiration from our players.
