MOSSEL BAY GOLF NEWS - Pinnacle Point Estate hosted the penultimate leg of this year's competition favourite, The Pinnacle Point Business League 2020, on Wednesday, 11 November.
Seemingly unperturbed by the day's challenging south-easterly wind, players turned in some excellent scores.
On 89 points, champions of the day Chas Everitt - in Douw Herbst, Lynette Wolhuter, Leonie de Beer and Sonika Weston - won the count-out against 3@1 Properties, whom they lost the count-out to last month.
In a well-deserved second place were 3@1 Properties, represented by Ian Gallacher, Leon Smith, David Johnstone and Dave Cooke. In third place, Prime Growth in Henk Wolhuter, Annemarie Wolhuter, Quintin Byleveldt and Konrad Suhr scored a respectable 86 points. Congratulations to all the winners.
Special mention goes to captain Chris Wolhuter and his team of Chas Everitt for taking an unassailable lead in this year's Business League. Chas Everitt boast a fantastic season, claiming gold four times out of the eight events so far. The race for second and third places is very much on, with the main contenders being 3@1 Properties, Back9Bandits, Fine & Country and Rauch Gertenbach. With many of the teams displaying extraordinary play, anything is possible.
"Thank you to all the teams and players for their continued support of this evergreen networking competition," says Paul Hoeksema, media manager at Pinnacle Point.
