Guest speaker Mr Elvis Shishana, SAFA Eden President and SAFA NEC member, said in his address that he was impressed with the way the event was organised and by the number of people who came to support their hero, which numbered around 2000.
Mr Shishana played a major role in Lennox becoming a professional player and Lennox presented him with a jersey as a token of appreciation.
The organising committee thanks the event’s sponsors Coca-cola, Uncedo Taxi Association, the Thembalethu Tavern Association, and the people of George for their support.
The event will be held annually and next year should be even bigger and better.
