MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Shaun Pretorius, the SWD women's cricket coach, said his team is ready to end the 2017/18 season on a high.
The women take on Northern Cape this weekend in their final round of matches in the Cricket South Africa provincial competition.
They will be in action at the Recreation Ground in Oudtshoorn in a limited over match on Saturday, 24 February and a T20 match on Sunday, 25 February.
"My team lost both their previous matches against Boland recently but victories in both matches will ensure they finish second in the limited overs competition and third in the T20 competition," Pretorius said.
Boland, who were unbeaten in all their matches, won the limited over as well as the T20 pool of which SWD was part.
The SWD team for the weekend:
Mochelle May, Monique Booysen, Bianca Figeland, Micaela Andrews, Haroline Rhodes, Mbali Ndukwane, Julandi Saayman, Haroline Rhodes, Marnezelle Rabie, Janet Winster, Jenevieve Jantjies, Chani Damons, Johanna Davids and Canice Jansen.
