SOUTHERN CAPE NEWS - It was a disappointing weekend for the SWD Women’s cricket team when they were outplayed on home soil by the visitors from the Free State.
Free State was victorious in the limited overs match (won by 156 runs), and T20 clash on Sunday (which they won by 114 runs). In both matches, they were able to earn bonus point victories.
For SWD, who will need to up their game in all the departments, it will be back to the drawing board for their final round of matches. Their next game will be on 23 and 24 February against Northern Cape in Kimberley.
