MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Eden Modern Pentathlon Association (MPA) held its Biathle Eden Champion-ships at Santos Beach, Mossel Bay, on Sunday, 22 April.
The athletes gave their absolute best and enjoyed every moment of the sunny day. Biathle consists of run, swim, run and the distances vary from age to age but remain a challenge for every age.
The results achieved on Sunday:
- U13 - Carla Botha - 5:00 (gold), Samantha Bellew - 5:04 (silver)
- U15 - Steff Schoeman - 8:46 (gold), Megan van der Westhuizen - 10:45 (gold)
- U17 - James Bellew - 14:10 (gold)
- M40 - Sonja Steyn - 14:56 (gold), Debbie Strydom - 15:05 (silver)
- Tertius Steyn 13:22 (gold)
- M60 - Johan Windt - 9:32 (gold), Riaan Jacobs - 10:32 (silver)
