MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND VIDEO - Around the world, it has been reported that frontline workers have been engaging in the dance trend called the “Jerusalema dance”.
At the Alma Clinic, KwaNonqaba, front line workers did not hold back. According to Malcolm de Jager, who supplied this video, the staff have been practising for a week to get their moves right.
De Jager told the Mossel Bay Advertiser that clinic staff are inundated with Covid-19 tests. To relieve the work pressure and boost staff morale, they decided to take on the dance challenge.
“Every day in the afternoons, when the clinic gets a little more quiet, we practiced.” They decided to do the dance referred to as the “Bart Simpson”.
