Teen found murdered in Cape Town's Tokai forest

NATIONAL NEWS - Police in the Western Cape recovered the body of a 15-year-old girl in the Tokia Forest, Cape Town, Lieutenant Colonel Andrè Traut said on Tuesday.

Responding to queries from the African News Agency (ANA), Traut said: “Yesterday afternoon at around 18:15 the body of a 15 year old girl was discovered in Dennedal Road Tokai, Kirstenhof. The victim was possibly strangled. She was reported missing earlier the same day after failing to return after a jog. No one has been arrested yet”.

The police did not identify the dead girl.
