Another mall robbery

NATIONAL NEWS - The Browns Jewellery store at Clearwater Mall was the scene of an armed robbery last week.

“Four male suspects were involved in an armed robbery. Three suspects entered the store on the pretence of purchasing something. Of the three suspects, one pointed a firearm at the staff, demanding that they open the safe. Items were taken from the safe,” said Provincial spokesperson for the South African Police Service Major Mack Mngomezulu .

No shots were fired and no arrests have been made.

A case of business robbery with a firearm has been opened.
