PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Charges relating to the discharging of a firearm and pointing of a firearm allegedly involving Bitou's deputy mayor Nokuzola Kolwapi have been laid at Kwanokuthula police station.
In a video that went viral after Kolwapi is shown allegedly discharging a handgun in 10 Sajini Street in Kwanokuthula.
The incident allegedly occurred during Mgidi celebrations her son Tsepiso Martin (18), who matriculated this year.
According to community members Bitou's mayor Jessica Kamkam and Speaker Mavis Busakwe attended the celebrations.
Two cases of discharging a firearm in public and pointing of firearm, as well as reckless endangerment charges are expected to be added to the complaint.
