Young music maestro to play six instruments at Eisteddfod

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Young music maestro, Jovann Rocher (13), will perform an impressive 18 pieces on six different instruments at this year's Mossel Bay Eisteddford.

See this versatile musician in action at the NG Moedergemeente church (Klipkerk) in Church Street in the Mossel Bay town centre. His first performance is this afternoon. Jovann, who is home schooled, even plays the glockenspiel - a percussion instrument consisting of aluminium or steel bars arranged in a keyboard layout, similar to a xylophone.

Op Dinsdag, 13 Augustus, vind ’n unieke beoordeling plaas wat om 19:00 in die Klipkerk gehou sal word. Deelnemers is volwassenes en musiekgraad 8 musikante, met ’n skitterende program wat viool, tjello, solosang, kore en ensembles insluit. Toegang is R50 vir volwassenes en gratis vir kinders.
