MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The children at the Pniel Ministries crèche in Asla Park looked like real ladies and gentlemen, all dressed up for their bright futures ahead, during their graduation ceremony on Saturday. The event was hosted at a church in Extension 23.
The 22 children will be starting their primary school careers in January 2020.
Pastor Neil Williams, the programme director, opened the ceremony with an overview of the school's journey since 2014. He told of the hardships suffered, trying to accommodate the children in suitable facilities, but he lauded the principal, Pastor Jennifer Saal, for her perseverance. He offered words of encouragement, that 2020 will hold a breakthrough for the school, in terms of the completion of its building project specifically.
Much to their parents' delight, the children performed several dance numbers. The learners each received a certificate and a Christmas gift during the graduation ceremony.
