MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay Municipality thanks residents for their kind cooperation in using water sparingly and urges everyone to remain economical with their water usage.
PetroSA has since increased the water flow from the Wolwedans Dam after temporary repairs to the water leak reported here earlier. PetroSA intends to complete the final repair work on Tuesday, 9 February.
As a result, water levels are likely to be constrained on Tuesday, but residents will be kept informed at all times.
Meanwhile, Mossel Bay Municipality has replenished the water levels from the desalination plant, and the level of the Langeberg Reservoir is currently at 73%. The other reservoirs' water levels are satisfactory.

Mosselbaai-munisipaliteit bedank inwoners vir hul samewerking om water spaarsamig te gebruik en versoek almal om steeds spaarsaam te wees.
PetroSA het die watervloei vanaf die Wolwedansdam verhoog nadat tydelike herstelwerk aan die waterlek wat vroeër gerapporteer is, gedoen is. PetroSA is voornemens om die finale herstelwerk op Dinsdag, 9 Februarie, te voltooi.
Na verwagting mag watervlakke gevolglik op Dinsdag weer onder druk kom, maar inwoners sal deurentyd ingelig gehou word.
Intussen het Mosselbaai-munisipaliteit die watervlakke aangevul uit die ontsoutingaanleg en is die Langeberg Reservoir se vlakke tans op 73%. Die ander reservoirs se watervlakke is bevredigend.
