MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The KwaNonqaba Police are investigating two cases of attempted murder that took place just after midnight on Sunday 12 October.
Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp, the spokesperson for the station, said it is as yet unclear if these two incidents are related or what their circumstances are.
Kapp said it was just before 00:20 when the police were called out to Stofile Street in KwaNonqaba and found a 31-year-old man lying in the yard of a home with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is currently recovering.
About 20 minutes afterwards, several people brought a man (32) they had found lying in Makhubalo Street with several gunshot wounds, also to his upper body, to the KwaNonqaba Community Service Centre. He was also rushed to a nearby hospital where he is recovering.
It is unclear if these two men know each other. Kapp said the suspect(s) are as yet unknown. Should you have any information about the shootings, call the investigating officer, Sergeant Malungisa Kakaza, on 044 606 5619.
