MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The KwaNonqaba Police are investigating two cases of murder following two separate stabbing incidents in Asla Park on Saturday 1 November.
The first murder took place at about 05:30 that morning. Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp, the station’s spokesperson, said according to reports, a neighbour of the 20-year-old Tshepiso Maqaza had heard the young man calling out for help.
When he went round to Maqaza’s house and opened the door, he found him lying at the entrance with a stab wound to his body. The police were alerted and emergency medical services declared Maqaza dead on the scene.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
In a separate incident at about 15:30 that afternoon, the police were called out to Mabolo Street.
A 41-year-old man, who cannot yet be named until his next of kin have been notified of his death, was found lying in the street with a stab wound to his chest.
Emergency medical services declared him dead on the scene.
No arrests have been made yet, but Kapp said one is imminent.
