MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Two men have died and one woman has been seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on the R328 near Brandwag this afternoon, 24 January.
Southern Cape Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Chris Spies said, according to reports available, Da Gamaskop Police had been conducting patrols in the Ruiterbos area when they were alerted by a member of the public about a car that had left the road at about 13:50.
"Upon arrival, police found a Datsun Go which overturned with three occupants," said Spies.
He said two men, aged 36 and 61, sustained multiple injuries and were declared dead at the scene by emergency medical services. He said the other occupant, a woman, was seriously injured and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Spies said the cause of the crash has not yet been established and is part of an ongoing investigation by the Da Gamaskop Police.
The investigating officer, Warrant Officer Arlene Stokes has urged members of the public who have any information on the crash to come forward. Stokes can be contacted on 079 893 9932.
