Update
MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Three men accused of murdering 31-year-old Chivago Leigh Fillies in June this year, made a brief appearance in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court today, Tuesday 17 September.
Fillies, a resident of Extension 13, died after being attacked in the early hours of 29 June. Fillies was allegedly hit over the head several times and beaten.
Three men, Jemandry Braaff (20), Ushere Apdol (19) and Aubrey-Junior Nickleo Mentoor (19), were arrested a day after the attack, 30 June, which was the same day Fillies died in hospital from his wounds.
Braaf and Apdol were granted bail of R2 000 each on 4 July and Mentoor was granted bail of R2 000 on 8 July.
The bail conditions are that no contact is made with any of the witnesses and that no contact is made with the deceased's family.
The matter has been postponed to 30 October, for a regional court date and the bail conditions have been extended.
