MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Following the success of the first Visit Kwa Clean-up Campaign on 19 October, which saw about 60 people volunteer to help clear the Barcelona area of KwaNonqaba of litter, a second clean-up will be held on 30 November.
Walter Blaq, the campaign's creator, said the entire idea was born from the belief that our home deserves better, and that we, the people, have the power to make it happen.
He said the success of the first clean-up sets the foundation for round two of the campaign and another day to build, connect and keep KwaNonqaba shining.
The second instalment will be from 13:00 until 16:00. Everyone interested in joining should meet at the crèche on Maqabangqa Street.
Residents and businesses from across the greater Mossel Bay area are invited to get involved with this second clean-up, and volunteers are asked to bring masks and gloves.
The Mossel Bay Municipality has confirmed that it would also collaborate with Blaq on this second round of the campaign.
