Surf's up this summer in Mossel Bay

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay is an excellent location for surfers looking to catch a wave.

Main surf spots such as the Inner and Outer Pool, Diaz Beach and The Point offer a range of conditions, from calm waves ideal for learning to more powerful reef breaks that challenge seasoned surfers.

Diaz Beach is considered to be one of the best places to learn surfing along the Southern Cape coastline, with several kilometers of sandy beach offering plenty of space and sandbanks for surfers of all levels to enjoy quality waves.

Many surfers opt for The Point, where both Inner and Outer Pool are located.

Surfers can often be spotted close to the tidal pool in front of the Delfino's Restaurant.

The waves can become quite hectic here depending on the wind, swell and tide, but ultimately The Point is an ideal spot for locals and visitors to Mossel Bay.
