MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Following the theme "Local is Lekker", educators of six schools in Mossel Bay took to the stage to dance their hearts out at the Mossel Bay Town Hall last night, 5 November in a "melodrama".
Point High School, Diaz Primary, Erika Primary, Ridgeview Primary, Hartenbos Primary and Park Primary School performed to the familiar sounds of South African music, appropriately dressed in South African attire.
From Springbok rugby shirts to traditional clothing representing our multi-cultural society, South Africa's flag flew high throughout the evening.

The evening was filled with fun, laughter and enthusiastic cheers from the audience and despite an unforeseen technical glitch during the second act, spirits were not dampened.
Also in attendance at this year's melodrama was Mossel Bay Mayor Dirk Kotzé.
The first melodrama took place in 2024 at the Diaz Hotel.
The schools will be performing again tonight, 6 November. Tickets are available at the door.
