The Mossel Bay Eisteddfod served as an inspiration for the hosting of the first Mossel Bay Arts Festival. The municipality is supporting and facilitating the festival on a similar basis to the Mossel Bay Sports and Recreation Festival, which takes place annually in September and October.
Supporting the festival is a means for the municipality to stimulate the local economy.
August is a particularly busy month for the Arts Festival, which concludes on 3 September. See the Mossel Bay Municipality Facebook page for the latest event updates.
