MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The streets of Mossel Bay quickly filled up with massive motorcycles for the 45th Buffalo Rally, taking place this weekend.
A highlight of the weekend is always the mass ride.
Bikers attending the Buffalo Rally drove together as a group this morning, beginning at De Bakke, moving along Point Road and Marsh Street, before eventually joining the N2 on their way back to Hartenbos.
The smell of petrol and deafening sounds of revving engines filled the air as bikers drove past The Point, waving to the crowd watching from the sidelines.

Many bikers were dressed in their signature leather jackets and customised helmets, including neon-coloured mohawks, pink braids and even one resembling the dragon Toothless from the film How To Train Your Dragon.
The bikers were also joined by a Checkers Sixty60 driver on a motorcycle of his own.
For many participants, the Buffalo Rally is an annual event they look forward to each year, coming from far and wide to enjoy their passion for motorcycling and meet up with friends.
Johan and Elise Visagie, attending the rally from Stilbaai, told Mossel Bay Advertiser that they use their bikes more than their car.
For them, motorcycling has become a family hobby, shared even with their dog Bandy, wearing a small leather jacket of its own.
