MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay residents came together for the second Ethan Iconic Walk around The Point to celebrate International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Those who attended the fun walk, hosted yesterday, Wednesday 3 December, made their way around The Point three times, starting at 18:00.
Ethan, or rather the Education and Training Hub for Autism Needs, is a non-profit company with the mission of educating and empowering parents, caregivers and individuals with autism, and to create an inclusive community that embraces diversity.
The walk was hosted in partnership with the Mossel Bay Municipality, Mossel Bay Tourism, and the departments of health and social development.
“Thank you to each and every one involved in the planning and co-ordination of the Iconic Walk. It was truly a celebration of different abilities and a fun event with the purpose of showing that there is strength in diversity,” the Ethan Project said.
