MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Rescued from a stormwater drain in Sonskynvallei on 12 March, Hope was extremely skinny and hungry, and smelled awful. She was taken to the Garden Route SPCA Mossel Bay that day.
After being thoroughly washed and fed, Hope settled in at her temporary home at the SPCA's cattery and is now looking for a loving home where she will receive lots of love from her new family.
The Garden Route SPCA Mossel Bay branch's kennel manager, who is in charge of adoptions, Kay Ievers, said Hope is an adult female calico who now eats like a trooper.
No longer smelly, and after having picked up a bit of weight during her stay at the SPCA, Hope has come out of her shell and is a friendly, small-sized cat.
She has no qualms about being picked up and cuddled, and will gently ask the person holding her for some forehead kisses by looking up at them.
If you would like to adopt Hope, contact the Mossel Bay branch on 044 693 0824.
