MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A regional court date is expected to be set during murder accused, Isiphele Modwantsi's (28), next appearance in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on 29 May.
It is alleged Modwantsi fatally stabbed 31-year-old Ayadulela Williams while he was standing outside his home in Transand, KwaNonqaba, on 21 December last year.
Motwantsi had been arrested in August last year for allegedly assaulting Williams with a hammer. The assault case was struck from the roll on 3 December due to an outstanding investigation.
Modwantsi remains in police custody, as he was denied bail following his arrest in connection with the murder.
