HERBERTSDALE NEWS - The public has been invited to attend an imbizo at the Herbertsdale Community Hall in School Street, Herbertsdale, on Thursday 12 February.
The aim of an imbizo is to foster conversation between the residents of a community and the police, as well as government officials.
At Thursday’s imbizo, the Herbertsdale community’s concerns will be heard and addressed, and the state of policing in the area will be discussed.
The Western Cape Police Ombudsman (WCPO) will also be in attendance, as well as other members of the police and Mossel Bay Municipality.
The WCPO independently investigates and seeks to resolve complaints regarding policing within communities in the Western Cape.
