MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A peaceful protest and demonstration were held on Friday, 15 December, by the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign (Southern Cape Division), in conjunction with the Muslim community in Mossel Bay on the corners of Mossel and Louis Fourie Streets.
The impact of the protest resonated with the local community but also served as a poignant reminder that global citizens are actively engaged in advocating for justice and peace in the face of ongoing challenges in the Middle East.
The demonstrators convened at the local mosque in Mossel Street and proceeded to the corner of Mossel and Louis Fourie Streets, where protestors lined both sides of the highway. There was a huge array of placards and posters in sight, displaying messages of peace.
