MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The members of the Lower Town Neighbourhood Watch recently received some brand-new reflector vests to wear during their nightly patrols through town in their efforts to help keep the area safe.
They gathered at M Sec Security's offices in Voorbaai last Wednesday evening, 20 August, when the company handed the vests over to the watch.
Suzette O'Brien, the Lower Town Neighbourhood Watch's chairperson, said these vests will enable better visibility during the patrols, and thanked the security company for them.
She noted that the neighbourhood watch works alongside the police, security companies and other important role players, but do not replace them.
