MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The new members of the KwaNonqaba Community Policing Forum (CPF) were elected and announced at the annual general meeting of the forum, held at the Siyanithanda Centre in Rhino Crescent, on Monday evening, 11 November.
The former KwaNonqaba CPF was disbanded the same evening, after serving the community for five years.
The former CPF chairman, Shadrack Shishana, was reelected as the new chair, and will continue to serve the community as the head of the CPF for the next five years.
Otto Ploog was nominated and elected the new deputy chair, Angelique Booysen was elected as the secretary, Cynthia Nofemele as the deputy secretary, and Siseko Mantusi as the treasurer.
The KwaNonqaba CPF's new project coordinator is Xolani Phithi and the public relations official is Mvelontle Golimpi. Additional members elected were Cebo Oliphant and Malungisi Markus.
