MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Sport Council (MBSC) is calling for nominations for the 2025 MBSC Sport Awards, an event dedicated to celebrating and honouring outstanding athletes and contributors in the local sport community.
The awards seek to acknowledge individuals and teams for their exceptional sporting achievements and contributions between 1 August 2024 and 18 July 2025. Winners in each category will also be eligible for nomination to the prestigious Eden Sport Awards.
Affiliated clubs, sports councils and schools are able to make nominations before the closing date, 18 July.
Nominations must reflect participation and achievements at district, provincial, national, continental or international levels, and should clearly indicate rankings, medals and the type of events.
The awards ceremony is scheduled for 22 August in Mossel Bay.
A panel representing the municipality, community and MBSC committee members will evaluate the submissions. All documents must be submitted via email to mbaysc@gmail.com.
