MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay Provincial Hospital welcomed five leap year babies this year - three boys and two girls.
These leaplings, who will only have their official birthdays once every four years, can celebrate their birthdays each year either on 28 February or 1 March.
They are five of the 65 babies born on Leap Day in public health care facilities in the Western Cape (from 00:00 to 15:00), of which 41 were girls and 24 boys.
Life Bay View Private Hospital in Mossel Bay did not have any babies born on Leap Day.
