MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Junior Town Council (JTC) recently embarked on a dynamic outreach campaign, visiting six primary schools to connect with Grade Seven learners and ignite their passion for civic leadership.
The JTC visited Milkwood Primary, Isalathiso Primary, Erika Primary, Ridgeview Primary, Hartenbos Primary and Park Primary.
The initiative aimed to extend a warm invitation to learners to join the JTC once they enter high school, encouraging active participation in local governance and community development from a young age.
"Mossel Bay is filled with young game changers. We believe change starts with a simple invitation, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome these bright minds into the Council Chambers one day," says the newly elected junior mayor, Imbo Ngcizela of Point High School.
