MOSSEL BAY FIRES: Crew to remain, patrol and monitor affected areas - 11 January

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - As of 07:10 today, Sunday, 11 January, the Mossel Bay wildfire remains contained, said the Garden Route District Municipality (GRDM).

“Firefighting crews from the GRDM attended to minor smouldering hotspots in the Vakansieplaas area. 

“This area is 100% contained, and all remaining pockets of smoke have been extinguished,” said GRDM in its latest statement.

It said the remaining fire lines were patrolled and verified and continue to remain contained. A crew will remain on site today to patrol and monitor the affected areas.
