MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Local boy, Rylan Lemmetuis (13), who attends Curro Mossel Bay independent school, performed on Expresso Morning Show on SABC 3 today.
He sang the song, Tomorrow (The sun will come out tomorrow), from the musical, Annie, as well as Colours of the Wind, sung by Vanessa Williams, from the movie, Pocohontas.
Three segments
Rylan had three segments on the show: an interview and then his two singing performances.
During his interview it was mentioned he has won a bursary to do a programme at the New York Film Academy next year.
Rylan said he was proud to be an ambassador for Mossel Bay and he spoke about juggling his academic, singing and acting commitments.
He is also deputy head boy at his school.

Expresso screens from Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 09:00.
SABC describes the programme as a "lifestyle show, celebrating South African heritage and achievements and inspiring the community to live their best life".
Viewers
The show has an average of 177 705 viewers, according to SABC.
Rylan had to be in the Expresso studio at 05:30 today for his performance.
He travelled from Mossel Bay to Cape Town and back today.
Rylan did extremely well at the South African Championships for Performing Arts (SACOPA), winning 10 medals, and earning other accolades there in late September.

He also acted in The Sound of Music at the Artscape Theatre in Cape Town during December last year and January this year.
