MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A man (39) was stabbed in the head with a bottleneck at a filling station in Voorbaai yesterday morning, 11 May.
According to the Southern Cape Police’s spokesperson, Warrant Officer Chris Spies, the man had been waiting for a taxi when he was accosted.
The suspect, also a 39-year-old man, allegedly slapped him and then stabbed him with the bottleneck, leaving him with a wound to his head.
Spies said the suspect was arrested yesterday after a case of attempted murder had been opened at the Da Gamaskop Police Station.
The man is expected to appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate’s Court once he has been charged.
