MOSSEL BAY NEWS - One person has been confirmed dead following an accident on Louis Fourie Road near Blue Waters in the Diaz Beach area.
The accident occurred before 06:00 this morning, Tuesday 31 March – three vehicles were involved.
The deceased was reportedly a passenger in one of the vehicles. The drivers of two of the vehicles were taken to hospital for further treatment. The extent of their injuries is not yet known. The driver of the third vehicle is said to be unharmed.
Services are still on the scene. According to the Mossel Bay Municipality a section of Louis Fourie Road is temporarily closed between Bakke Street and the Boland Park intersection.

The section of Louis Fourie Road which was temporarily closed has been re-opened. According to the Mossel Bay Municipality normal traffic flow has resumed. It said emergency staff may still conclude clearing the scene, thus road-users are cautioned to be mindful and reduce speed when passing the scene.
