KWANONQABA NEWS - The KwaNonqaba Police paid a visit to Garden Route Primary School on Thursday 12 February to conduct a search of the premises for illicit substances.
Accompanied by local municipal law enforcement and the Mossel Bay K9 unit, the police team was led by Sergeant Salome Marais, a social crime officer.
The K9 unit sniffed around the classrooms and vehicles on the schoolgrounds, as well as the learners’ schoolbags. The officers also searched through the bags.
No illicit substances were found. However, a few vapes were discovered in the possession of some learners.
