MOSSEL BAY NEWS -  The annual Hot Summer of Touch touch rugby tournament returns to Mossel Bay tomorrow, 27 December. 

The tournament's final two legs will take place at Diaz Beach tomorrow and Hartenbos Beach on Monday 29 December.

This is the 25th year the touch rugby tournament has been operational.

There will be five sections in this year’s series, namely a Pro Series, Challenger Series, an Open Tournament, a Junior Section and a Ladies Section.

The latter two sections will be dependent on the number of teams and available space on the beach/field.

Teams typically consist of a maximum of eight players.

The 2025 tournament began on Sunday 7 December in Camps Bay, taking place on several other beaches across South Africa including Stilbaai, Strand, Struisbaai, Kleinmond, Macassar, Diaz and Hartenbos Beach.
