MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Green Acres Football club facilitates four weekly practises at D’Almeida Stadium. There are 55 players in total who are split up into three different teams according to their age group. The club first came about in 2017. Their goal is to keep the community’s children off the streets and give them a fun and safe activity to keep them busy. The club’s proudest moment was when one of their junior teams won their first ever tournament in 2018!
After previously donating a soccer kit to the Green Aces senior team, the Hollywoodbets Mossel Bay Team came back again this year to hand over a second donation of a complete soccer kit to their junior team.
The team’s coach, Dyama Sicetsha, believes that this donation made by the Hollywoodbets Team will help provide motivation to the junior players.
“These new Hollywoodbets soccer kits will boost the confidence in the players’ performance whenever they are playing against opposition teams,” he said.
