MOSSEL BAY NEWS - On the evening of Saturday 26 July, the Mossel Bay Town Hall was filled with the rich sounds of celebration as the Carpe Musicam! concert's orchestra and choir took to the stage for the final performance in their Ten of the Best concert series.
The event marked the ensemble's 10th anniversary.
The evening was a fantastic success and a fitting tribute to a decade of musical excellence. The concert was the last of three performances, following two sold-out shows in George and Sedgefield the previous weekend.
Saturday's audience was treated to a memorable programme spanning various genres and generations.
The orchestra captivated the crowd with stirring renditions of Phantom of the Opera and the iconic Pirates of the Caribbean theme.

The choir then joined in for heartfelt performances of Don't Cry for Me Argentina from the musical Evita, and What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong, both of which drew enthusiastic applause.
As part of the ongoing 10th anniversary celebrations, the Carpe Musicam! Pops Band will make its debut performance at the Mossel Bay Town Hall on Sunday 31 August, for Mossel Bay Arts Month.
Fans can also look forward to the next performance scheduled for the town hall on 19 October.
