MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Municipality is in the process of reviewing its integrated development plan (IDP) and municipal budget for the 2026/27 financial year.
The municipality invites all community structures or organisations, interest groups and community members to participate and give input into the 2026/27 Draft IDP and Budget Review.
“The IDP is a five-year strategic document that guides all development and service delivery decisions within the municipality.
“It reflects the Council’s goals and priorities and is reviewed annually to ensure it remains aligned with the changing needs of the community,” said the municipality.
Residents can provide oral or written inputs at the venues below on the dates provided.
“These meetings offer residents the opportunity to comment on proposed development projects and to identify priorities for their wards. Visual presentations of ward-specific projects will be displayed,” the municipality said.
Representatives from the municipality will be on-site to provide support if needed.
Community survey forms will be made available and can be collected at and submitted to all municipal offices and public libraries, as well as local spaza shops.
Individuals who cannot read or write will receive assistance from municipal employees.
