Buisplaas is a village on the Gourits River, between Mossel Bay and Herbertsdale. It is set in beautiful, pristine countryside, so it is well worth visiting as a day out.
Previous community events, including a women's event and a winter carnival in Buisplaas, were well attended.
At the winter carnival in June last year there was a variety of stalls and activities. Children could have their faces painted and there was a nail technician doing women's nails.
There were candy floss, cakes and takeaways for sale.
