MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Garden Route High in Mossel Bay honoured its educators and support staff on Friday 8 August, in celebration of Women’s Day.
Each woman received a gift box as a token of appreciation.
Ilana Afrika, organiser and coordinator of the school-based support team (SBST) at Garden Route High, told Mossel Bay Advertiser the day was held as a reminder to young working professionals that their contributions towards making a difference in the Mossel Bay community is of importance.
“Women are a pillars of strength in a world where we face gender-based violence and many other social problems,” she said.
The women also participated in a small presentation, displaying photos of what they best envision for themselves.
